Logik Live #60: Developing the Look with Hardave Grewal
For Flame artists who haven't done a lot of grading, knowing where to start can be intimidating. Hardave Grewal is a Toronto based Colorist and Flame artist, working primarily in commercials and feature films. Hardave will be going through the process of color grading with a focus on maintaining the photographic intent created on set and “finding” the look. Using Davinci resolve, he will discuss how we go from capture to display, covering contrast, balancing shots, LUTs, color management, creating different looks and maintaining them over a commercial or feature film. This presentation is meant to give you a greater understanding of color grading and how these techniques can be used to make you a better colorist in Flame.
